The RI Economic Policy Council is a 25-member board of business, government, labor and higher education representatives formed in 1996 to give strategic focus to Rhode Island’s economic development efforts. The RIEDC manages the activities and the initiatives of the EPC.
The Policy Council advises both the Governor and the General Assembly. In addition to strategy development, Policy Council members serve as champions to mobilize the resources to implement key initiatives
