The Rhode Island State Labor Relations Board is an autonomous board, housed within the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training. In accordance with Rhode Island General Law § 28-7-4, the Governor, with Senate consent, appoints the seven members of the Labor Relations Board. Three (3) members of the Board shall be representatives of labor, three (3) members shall represent management, including at least one representative of local government, and one member shall be a representative of the general public. The members of the Board are appointed for a term of six (6) years each. |
