The licensing board examines and passes on the qualifications of all applicants for licensure and recommends to the Director of the Department that a license is issued to each qualified successful applicant, attesting to the applicant’s professional qualification to practice as a “licensed chemical dependency professional” or a “licensed chemical dependency clinical supervisor”. The board also is responsible for making recommendations to the Director concerning all disciplinary functions carried out regarding all licenses.
