| The Freight Advisory Committee is appointed by the State Planning Council to provide a forum for regional freight stakeholders to discuss strategies to aid in the efficient movement of freight and increase collaboration between the public and private sectors regarding freight matters and new developments and trends in goods movement. The Committee assists in the implementation of the 2016 Rhode Island Freight and Good Movements Plan. |
